I spend much time foraging for treasures amongst tumbles of seaweed along the Scottish shoreline. Seaweeds are immensely variable, complex structures, found in arrays of colours and textures. My seaweed works echo the ocean habitats of the species I preserve, through the relationship between woven fibres and these sea jewels.

Woven works shaped by the shifting patterns of the natural world.
My weaving practice is rooted in the observation of nature and its innate rhythms. Drawing inspiration from the ever-changing qualities of the natural world, I create wall art, sculptural works, spatial divides that echo these influences.
